How to arrive?

The Hotel Argentino boasts an unbeatable location in the city center of Vigo, between the city’s two main thoroughfares: Gran Vía and Urzaiz.

Its strategic location makes it an excellent starting point for accessing the shopping, business, cultural, and entertainment districts of the city.

Its privileged location allows you to get to the Marina and the Old Town (A Pedra Market) in just 10 minutes on foot, or if you’d rather stay near the hotel, you can enter into the shopping district the moment you walk out of the door of the hotel.

We are also very well-connected to the main exit and entry routes of the city and have very easy access to public transport.

How to get to hotel

Coming from the airport?

  • Taxi

    Taxis in Vigo are white. The price of the trip from the Peinador Airport is about € 20, but bear in mind that you’ll have to pay a fee for each suitcase you’re carrying (€ 0.50). The trip takes about 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Bus

    The C9A is the bus that travels between Peinador Airport and calle Urzaiz (the closest stop is 100 meters from the Hotel). A bus ticket costs € 1.23. City buses are green, and the bus company is Vitrasa.

  • Car

    When leaving the Airport, take E-1 – AP-9 – Vigo – Pontevedra for about 6 km, and then take exit # 151 toward AP-9 – Vigo for about 5 km.

    Later, you’ll take the last exit toward Vigo center, following calle Cervantes to the stoplight. At the intersection with Urzaiz, turn left and go about 150 meters until you get to calle Cuba, where you’ll take a right.

    Continue on for another 70 meters until you reach calle Brasil, after which, turn right again. At the stoplight, at the intersection with Avenida Gran Vía, turn right and go straight for about 100 meters until crossing calle Urzaiz, where you will enter Calle Lepanto, where we are located.

Driving?

  • From Madrid, Ourense or Portugal

    The A55 will take you into Vigo on Avenida de Madrid until you reach Plaza de España (square). Then, go toward Gran Vía -centro de ciudad-estación de tren (2nd on the right), continuing for about 600 meters until you cross calle Urzaiz and enter onto calle Lepanto.

  • From Corunna or Santiago

    On the AP-9, take the last exit toward Vigo center, and follow calle Cervantes to the stoplight. At the intersection with Urzaiz, take a left and continue about 150 meters until you reach calle Cuba where you will the turn right. You must then continue about 70 meters until you reach calle Brasil and turn right. At the traffic light located at the intersection with Avenida Gran Vía, turn right and continue another 100 meters until you cross calle Urzaiz and enter onto calle Lepanto.

Taking the train?

The Vigo train station is 150 meters from the hotel. When you walk out of the station, you will be able to see calle Lepanto.

Please Note!!: Due to the construction of the new station, trains will be arriving into the Guixar Station (temporarily) from which you will need to take a taxi to the hotel. It will cost approximately €6 and take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic.

Taking the bus?

If you are coming by bus, you can take the C4A city bus from the same station, which will take you from the bus terminal to the city center.

The closest stop to the hotel is located on calle Urzaiz, next to the train station. You can also take a taxi.

Get around Vigo, and get back to the Hotel

  • Bus

    Close to the hotel, on calle Urzaiz, you will find a bus stop (“Vitrasa” bus company) at which city buses stop. Buses in Vigo are green. A single-trip ticket costs €1.23.

  • Taxi

    We can call you a taxi at reception. While outside the hotel, you can catch a taxi from the sidewalk or go to a taxi rank.

  • Rental cars

    If you need to rent a car, we can put you in contact with a car rental agency.
